With several Premier League records to his name already, Erling Haaland is set to smash another one - and he could do it in Saturday's top-of-the-table duel.
If the Manchester City striker scores against Liverpool, he would reach 50 Premier League goals in only 48 appearances, the fewest matches needed to reach a half-century.
It will be easier said than done for Haaland to achieve the milestone this weekend, given he is yet to score a league goal against the Reds.
But either way, it looks only a matter of time before he eclipses the record held by Andrew Cole, who took 65 matches to reach 50 goals.

The only other active Premier League player to feature in the top six is Mohamed Salah, who is targeting his own milestone this weekend, aiming to score his 150th goal.

How Haaland has raced towards 50 goals
Haaland's record-breaking debut season in English football ended with 36 goals in 35 matches, the most goals ever in a single Premier League campaign, and he again tops the scoring chart this season, netting 13 times in 12 outings.
Of the 49 goals he has scored in the Premier League, 47 have come from inside the box, and 32 have come from his trusty left foot.
