Launched in 2019, the programme uses the power of football to inspire young people aged 11-18 at risk of not reaching their potential, to develop the personal skills and positive attitudes needed to succeed in life.

Premier League Inspires empowers participants to develop personal, social, employability and life-skills, through a series of regular face-to-face group sessions, mentoring, workshops and social-action projects, providing pupils with the help they need now and supporting them to plan for their future.

More than 29,000 young people have benefitted from their involvement in Premier League Inspires to date.

Premier League Inspires Challenge

Funding from the Premier League and Premier League Charitable Fund's partners also supports youth social action through the annual Premier League Inspires Challenge.

The Challenge helps young people to learn about some of the challenges facing their football club and community, exploring ways to overcome these issues.

For Season 2022/23, participants developed environmental sustainability social action Protect the Planet projects.
