Here’s my new build – an extended scale, Strat-inspired creation. While the classic influence is present, I’ve sculpted the body to give it a sharper, more modern edge that makes it unmistakably mine.
I wanted to explore a bold contrast, and I think the blue HufGlow fingerboard block inlays paired with the blue Alumitone humbuckers against the dark walnut body really pop. A beautiful and striking color combo, if you ask me.
The top is crafted from one of the most striking, highly figured pieces of Claro Walnut (Juglans hindsii × Juglans regia), a naturally occurring hybrid known for its bold grain patterns and rich color variation.
